• Sign Documents Digitally: Use the "Freehand Drawing" mode to create smooth, realistic signatures using your mouse, trackpad, or touchscreen stylus. You can also use "Add Image" to upload a transparent PNG of your professional signature and place it on dotted lines.
• Highlight and Annotate: Add colorful rectangles over important paragraphs. Lower the "Opacity" slider to 0.4 to create a perfect, transparent highlighter effect for reviewing academic papers or legal contracts.
• Multi-Page Tracking: Use the "Prev" and "Next" buttons to scroll through massive PDF files. The editor intelligently memorizes all your specific drawings and text boxes on each individual page, retaining them in memory until you hit export.

How the Export Process Works

When you click Save Final PDF, the editor does not just take a low-quality screenshot of your screen. Instead, using the powerful locally-running pdf-lib engine, it takes all of your Fabric.js text layers, drawings, and images, compiles them into a mathematically crisp transparent PNG, and physically stamps them into the original core metadata of the PDF file. This ensures that your exported document retains its original high-resolution, searchable text underneath your edits.
